This green China tea is produced in the time honoured way. After plucking, freshly picked jasmine flowers are added to the tea and left overnight to infuse. In the morning the jasmine flowers are removed, but the lovely fragrance of jasmine remains on the tea.

Tea is rich in powerful antioxidants called flavenoids, natural substances also found in fruits and vegetables, which can help to promote overall health and wellbeing.

For the perfect cup we recommend that you use one tea bag. Add water just under the boil and infuse for 2-3 minutes. Our Green tea with Jasmine should be served without milk and can be sweetened with sugar or honey.

Originalton Taylors of Harrogate: When I need a quick pick-me-up in the morning, I always find myself reaching for a caddy of Assam. Its distinctive malty taste works wonders. While drinking it, I often find myself musing on the amazing characteristics of different teas.

Assam isn’t actually that far away from Darjeeling in terms of geography, but, if we’re talking taste, they’re a world apart. A quick word of advice - do serve Assam with milk otherwise you may find it a little overpowering.

Originalton Taylors of Harrogate:   Politely you could call Lapsang Souchong an ‘acquired taste’. Put more bluntly I’d say you’ll either love this or loath it. Lapsang Souchong has a very unique flavour, created when the tea is dried in baskets over a smoking pinewood fire.

Personally I think its very distinctive flavour is about as refreshing as teas come. It’s fabulous with powerful foods such as cheese, fish and spices.
